Turracher Höhe sits at 1,763 metres on the border of Carinthia and Styria and is one of Austria's most snow-reliable ski resorts. Rated by Skiresort.de as one of the most dependable winter destinations in the Alps — the season runs from November to April.
The resort offers 43 kilometres of slopes with 14 modern lifts for all abilities: wide family runs, more demanding terrain for experienced skiers and quiet forest trails. Complemented by extensive cross-country ski trails on the Nockberge plateau.

Skiing is more than just the slopes. Alpine Chalet Turrach offers 135 m² of perfect après-ski without bar crowds: private sauna with direct views of the Swiss pine forest, heated outdoor hot tub on the panoramic balcony and a fireplace in the spacious living area.
The chalet accommodates up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms — ideal for a family ski holiday or a group of skiers. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom, the master bedroom has a freestanding stone bathtub.

Is the chalet ski-in / ski-out?
The chalet is located approximately 800 metres from the ski resort. In excellent snow conditions, a ski-in descent close to the chalet is possible. The lifts are about 10 minutes on foot. Parking directly at the lifts is also available.
Is there a ski room?
Yes — skis, snowboards and equipment can be securely stored directly at the chalet. No wet ski boots in the living area.
When is the best time to ski at Turracher Höhe?
The main season runs from December to March. The most reliable snow conditions are in January and February. Christmas and New Year are the most popular booking periods — early booking recommended.
